This is a list of articles that I have written on Associated Content in the last week, I hope you will take a look at them and also enjoy them.

I write on a number of topics, usually it depends on what comes into my head on any given day, so it could be a travel story, memoirs from my life, something from the daily news, or even a poem inspired by something.

  Former Prime Minister Tony Blair is donating book profits to Royal British Legion to help injured soldiers, but is this merely to gain popularity and for financial reasons.
• A Tour Of Old Southampton VIII : Ruins And The Old Gaol

  We are getting close to the end of our tour of the Old City Of Southampton, but still have a few more treats in store for you. This time, it’s some ruins inside of the walls, and the old Gaol house.
• Offbeat News – Weird News from Around the World

  This edition of Offbeat News features the death of a giant fish, a John Lennon letter delivered late, Vuvuzela bans, camping for cemetery plots, and a new green burial option.
• Offbeat News Identity Crisis : Request for Suggestions

  There are so many other sources using Offbeat News, Weird News, News of The Weird, Odd But True, Oddly Enough etc, it’s time for MY Offbeat News to get a new identity.
• Bill Millin Lord Lovat’s Piper on D-Day Passed Away 18th August 2010

  Bill Millin, the Scottish Piper who led British Commandos onto Sword Beach and across Pegasus Bridge on D-Day has passed away 18th August 2010.
• Double Rainbow

  Everyone loves rainbows, but it’s not too often you see a double or triple rainbow. This is a spectacular double rainbow that shone outside our house tonight.
• A Trick or Treating Horror Story for Halloween

  This is a horror story for Halloween, about the first trick or treating experience which changed the life of a young boy forever.
• A Tour Of Old Southampton IX : Hollyrood Church

  Today we visit the ruins of Hollyrood Church in the city centre of Southampton. Hollyrood was known as the church of the sailors and a building has been on this site since 1320.
• Karen’s Writing Challenge : Stuck in a Jam

  Mike was on the way home from an aborted weekend away camping, and now he was not only stuck in traffic, his cellphone was also dead. This is a short story in response to Karen’s Writing Challenge. See the entries and if you like – enter your own.
• A Tour Of Old Southampton X : Unusual Memorial Plaques

  This is a pair of unusual memorial plqaues on the walls outside the ruins of Holyrood Church in the old City of Southampton.
• A Tour Of Old Southampton XI : The Dolphin Hotel

  In the final part of our tour of the old city of Southampton, we take a look at the Dolphin Hotel, an old coaching inn, which has a plaque outside to commemorate a famous visitor to the inn.
