A Is For April

We all love a challenge, and I decided to sign up for The A to Z Blogging Challenge,  which requires you to publish an article for every day in April except for the 4 Sundays, with each article being related to the appropriate letter of the alphabet.

Since today is the 1st of April, and the first letter of the Alphabet is A, guess what!

April means that we ought to be well into Spring,  at least in the Northern Hemisphere.  If you live “down under” and the weather is decidedly Spring like, then maybe the recent earthquake in Japan did have a serious effect when if knocked the earth’s axis somewhat.

The First Of April is also April Fool’s Day, which is when people play tricks on each other, and it’s really fun to do and to watch their reactions, especially if they are gullible.

Last year on April Fool’s Day I published an article on Associated Content entitled A Most Amazing Story, which told of a really unusual incident that happened when I took my dog for a walk in the woods a few years ago.

I hope you have a chance to read the story, I think you might like it, and I wrote a sequel the following day to tell the truth behind it, but I guess I must have written it a little too convincingly, since a lot of people still commented on it and how amazing it was.

Well enjoy your April Fool’s Day, and don’t forget to return here tomorrow and see what 2nd April holds in store.

If you like this article, please can you help our struggling blog by sharing it.  We love Twiter, Facebook, Digg, Stumbleupon etc, as well as any other sites that you like to share on.

If you are a new visitor to Off The Record, then Debbie and I wish you a warm welcome, and hope that you will stick around, and of course return.
