I just had a message from Amazon to say that they are having the first DVD and Blu-Ray disk sale of 2010, and there are some amazing prices there! I saw DVD’s as much as 70% off, and on some orders Amazon is also giving Free Shipping on orders over $25.
I don’t know if you shop with Amazon or not, but we are finding more and more that not only are their prices hard to beat, their customer service and speed of delivery is nothing short of amazing. In the week before Christmas we personally had three orders that we never expected to receive on time, and they arrived with time to spare.
Examples of items I saw are:
- UP on Blu-Ray for $17.99 – was $45.99
- Gladiator on Blu-Ray for $21.99 – was $39.99
- Star Trek 2009 (3-disc) on Blu-Ray for $19.99 – was $39.99
- Jonas Bothers The Concert Experience for $22.99 – was $39.99
- Mama Mia The Movie (2-disc special edition) for $17.99 – was $26.99
- Lots of Fitness DVD’s at 50% off to help you work off the holiday binge!
It doesn’t look like there is a better time to buy DVD’s, but first we have to look into a new DVD player as ours is still playing up. Time to upgrade I think… I hope you have a chance to look at Amazon and manage to pick up some bargains.

Hi – very great web site you have made. I enjoyed reading this posting. I did want to publish a remark to tell you that the design of this site is very aesthetically sweet. I used to be a graphic designer, now I am a copy editor in chief for a merchandising firm. I have always enjoyed playing with computers and am trying to learn computer code in my spare time (which there is never enough of lol).
Thanks Maria,
I like the look of the SouthFloridaSoccer.info site too, very nice. My daughters are in South Florida and used to play in Little League in Pembroke Pines.
Wordpress is a good way to learn web design and some programming. You can go to whatever level you want.
