It’s been six months now since I lost my writing Mojo, and so far I haven’t had any luck in getting it back. It’s not that I have any shortage of ideas on what to write about, but I do have only short time periods in the morning and lunchtime […]
Writing
Just over 2 years ago on 12th January 2010 I joined the many other writers on a site called Associated Content where I hoped to find new friends and to expand my writing exposure to new eyes, as well as to boost my earnings. Today, if all goes well, I […]
It’s something that all writers have to face sooner or later, that day when they wake up and try to write an article, but no topic comes to them, and the words refuse to flow. It’s called Writers Block, or in other words My Muse Has Left Me.
As many of our online friends have been aware, Debbie has not been well since the middle of 2010, and eventually after months of waiting, in the first week of January she managed to get an MRI. Three days later the phone rang, and I went with her to the hospital, where we found that not only did she have a Brain Tumor, it was a large one.
If you enjoy reading things that I have written, whether it’s my lenses on Squidoo, my regular articles on Yahoo Contributor Network, or my jokes and humor on The Laughline, it’s likely that you might not have come across all of these main places where you can find my content.
Many of us writers need a kick up the rear in order to find a reason to publish articles on our blogs more frequently, and this week I signed up for The Blogging From A To Z April Challenge, which if I complete the task should result in 26 new articles being published throughout the month of April, one for each letter of the alphabet.
It’s hard to believe that the first post was published on our blog on New Years Eve 2008, which is almost 2 years ago.
Associated Content has made a great new change this week and improved the layout and content of everybody’s profile page. As well as having a larger photo, which makes it easier to see what the writer looks like, the layout is far more pleasing on the eye, and also has a Featured Content section at the top, which allows authors to highlight their top articles.
A good friend of mine and fellow writer Karen Sanders has issued a Writing Challenge, where every week she will give out a list of 10 words, and you have to write a short story that includes all of those words, in their exact form. This is not only great fun, it also helps to overcome writers block, and you never know what stories the submitters are going to come up with.
Please can you help me to reach my target of 100,000 page views on Associated Content. As of today I am only 776 page views away from reaching my target, but if you can help me by reading any of my articles today, that would be a huge help. Thanks in advance.
