Fancy An A To Z Blogging Challenge In April?

Many of us writers need a kick up the rear in order to find a reason to publish articles on our blogs more frequently, and this week I signed up for The Blogging From A To Z April Challenge,  which if I complete the task should result in 26 new articles being published throughout the month of April, one for each letter of the alphabet.

I think that this is a great idea, and with hundreds of other writers having signed up for the challenge already, it’s a great way to not only write more, but to make more friends along the way.

The more blogs that we cross link to, especially well favored blogs that have lots of traffic, the better this is for all of us.  It’s not just about the initial traffic from extra articles, it’s the blog ranking that should increase through having more fans, and as a result maybe Google will look down on us favorably as well, and rank us higher.  That means more traffic as time goes on.

Don’t forget that you can write about other articles that you have published, or if you are a lensmaster on Squidoo, you can write about your lenses. 

If finding the time every day to write sounds hard, don’t forget that in Blogger and WordPress you can write articles ahead of time and schedule them to be published when you like.  It works well, and I have written my first 4 for April already.
